Blackburn's Frame Pump makes fixing flats easy thanks to the aluminum barrel, fold-out T-handle and universal thumblock head, which together deliver excellent pumping power. Best, the elegant spring-loaded design and rubber ends let you carry it on your bicycle without mounting clips.

Frame Pumps are usually held beneath the frame's top tube horizontally, or vertically against the seat tube. Choose the size that matches the inside distance from the head tube to the seat tube (top-tube mount) or between the top tube and the seat tube/down tube intersection (seat-tube mount). Comments:

Gets very high ratings from reviewers. Pumps tires to a high enough pressure that you can ride home without fear of damaging rim or tire/tube. Used it during a winter ride and it worked well. I have CO2 as backup just in case. Some may prefer the smaller pumps. IMHO, the extra weight pales in comparison to the extra volume and easier pumping than a mini-pump, especially if you are tired from a long, hard ride when you have to change a flat.
