Tool School At Cycle Craft Park Tool School at Cycle Craft offers several levels of instruction for aspiring home mechanic. Choose from "The Basics", or Tool School Intermediate. With the Basics you will learn the maintenance procedures that will keep your bike running great. For more in depth maintenance and repair work, sign up for the Intermediate level course. The Basics course is a three hour course that will be offered on 2 Saturdays. The Intermediate course will have 2 sessions to choose from. Each session consists of 4 classes of 3 hours each. Cycle Craft Tool School Basics
Tool School Basics is the perfect class for the cyclist that wants to learn the essential maintenance operations needed to keep their bike on the road or trail. The class is one session of three hours and covers such topics as wheel removal and installation, tire inspection and flat repair, drivetrain inspection and maintenance plus minor gear adjustments and more. You will be able to know if there is a problem with your bike that needs professional attention before it becomes a major problem.
Cycle Craft Tool School Intermediate
The Park Tool School presented by Cycle Craft! Our intermediate course is designed for enthusiasts who really want to roll up their sleeves and get into the guts of their machines. The intermediate course is 12 hours long presented in 4 sessions of 3 hours. The course covers all the major bike systems including drive trains, brakes, wheels, headsets, hubs, bottom brackets, frames, and control parts. You will also learn about the tools and materials you need for your home shop area including tools, stands, and layout. The course fee also includes the Park Tool "Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair"!
